Curious About Your Complimentary Consultation?
Let’s Connect and Find Clarity—No Pressure!
We know Taking the First Step in Therapy can Feel Like a Big Decision.
That’s why we offer a free 15-minute consultation before starting therapy, so we can get to know each other and see if we're the right fit.
It’s a simple, no-pressure way to talk through what you're looking for and decide if working together feels right.

During the 15-Minute Complimentary Consultation:
What’s been on your mind? We’ll talk about the concerns you’re dealing with as a couple and the goals you’re hoping to reach.
We’ll share how ForwardUs Counseling works and the different ways we can support you through this process.
Wondering about the details—like how to get started or what it costs? We’ll cover that too, and you can check out some of the info here.
We’ll make sure everything’s on the table. Feel free to bring up anything else that is important to you and your partner.
Common Concerns
(How ForwardUs Counseling Can Provide Support)
-
It's completely normal to feel unsure when you start. The consultation is really just a chance to talk things through and figure out what you're looking for and how we can help. We'll work together to get clear on what you need and where to go from here.
-
It’s plenty of time for a brief conversation to see if we’re a good match. If it feels right for both of us, we’ll dive deeper when we meet for a full session.
-
This is simply a relaxed, friendly conversation where we can get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s on your mind, and I’ll explain how the process works in a way that’s easy to understand. There’s absolutely no pressure—just a chance for you to feel comfortable, ask any questions you have, and see if this feels like the right next step for both of you. We're here to support you at your own pace.
-
It’s always helpful if both of you can participate in the consultation so we’re all on the same page from the start. But if your partner isn’t ready, no worries at all. You’re more than welcome to come on your own, and we can talk through your concerns. I can also give you some ideas on how to encourage your partner to feel more comfortable with the process. It’s not unusual for one person to need a little more time, and that’s okay. We’ll figure out the best way forward when it works for both of you.
